Downtown St. Louis is the place to be today, with Cardinals opening day and our new Ballpark Village bringing sparks of excitement to spring craving fans. And inside Ballpark Village is one of only seven PBR bars in the country. In case you’re thinking PBR might stand for Pabst Blue Ribbon, let me clarify for you. PBR is the abbreviation for Professional Bull Riders. As in, real cowboys who ride real bulls.
I am preparing to head out to Scottrade this evening for the Professional Bull Riders St. Louis Invitational and I can’t wait to see some bull riding! I’m packing a telephoto lens (the approved length, mind you) and I plan on filling up my memory card with amazing pictures (God willing!). I will post these to my blog as soon as I can.
I’m also attending tomorrow and Sunday, so I should be able to get some great images of cowboys, bulls and the awesome Flint! I hope you’ll be attending, too!

If you’re like me, you’ve been patiently (more like IMPATIENTLY) waiting since October of last year for this coming weekend. I bought my tickets to the PBR St. Louis Invitational way back in October so I get the seats I wanted and get some GREAT pictures.
Unfortunately, while I’m also eager to see ALL of the riders in this amazing sport, I was especially looking forward to watching J.B. Mauney ride this coming weekend at Scottrade.
